(2-4 portions)

  • 3 cups rice
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. oil or 30g margarine

Rinse the rice and leave it in water for 30 minutes. Heat the oil or margarine in a pot. Add salt and the water. Bring the water to boil. Add the rice, let it boil for ca 5 minutes until the water is absorbed. Reduce heat very low, cover the pot and leave it cook for ca 20 minutes. Serve with stewed meat.
